The marketing of a toy is directly connected to the life cycle of these products, passing from an ingenious idea to the initial design up to final consumption, therefore dozens and dozens of phases, advancements and controls:

INNOVATIVE IDEAS

The Research & Development plays the key role in the creative input of the items, with innovative talent and analytical skills in the fields of entertainment, leisure and technology, blending the triad of play value, development and marketability

INTERNALIZED DESIGN

Following the presentation of the drafts, the internal toy designers decide on the functionality and salient features of the games in correspondence with the selected core-target, from infants to school age, transforming a “simple technical drawing” into a finished product and concrete with shapes, colors, dimensions, pieces and methods of assembly, materials and numbers on a large scale.

PROTOTYPE

In the Laboratory, ad hoc models are always created to be scrupulously checked, suitable for declining, to an identified size, truly efficient solutions, original concepts and intuitive accessibility for children.

We investigate to understand what use the baby recipients will make of it, identifying potential risks and any changes to consider.

DESIGN APPROVAL

Once the projects have been confirmed, the safety engineering experts establish how to test the products, favoring local and national standards on the matter. Checks must include

any topic, from the content of chemicals and heavy metals to stability, compression, accessibility of mechanisms, batteries, magnets and many more.

Once the safety and interaction information with the children has been acquired, the next step is to aim straight for a truly rewarding experience, free from defects or disappointments.

PRODUCTION

When the toy goes into production, the dedicated technicians are called upon to prepare the moulds and materials to start the process, a succession of painting, stuffing, assembly, packaging and inspection , maintaining child safety and compliance levels day-by-day.

GIAQUINTO productions start from very fine raw material in granules, specially inserted into cutting-edge machines, and then arrive in precise molds with the addition of colours.

With a pool of over 1,000 moulds, the company is undoubtedly a growing reality in the country’s toy universe.

The complete production process consists of three different methods:

  • PRESSING

  • BLOWING

  • PRINT EXTRUSION

    CERTIFICATION

An essential value for the Group is the safe and certified quality of all the references in the catalogue: each product is in fact subjected to in-depth and articulated quality tests, aimed at underlining painstaking commitment, regulatory compliance, successful inspection.

In short, behind a toy there is actually a very precious and specialized chain made up of designers, engineers, laboratory technicians, ergonomists and field experts, trained and up-to-date consultants who collaborate tenaciously from the revision of the project to the latest evaluations which will lead to success!
